Equipment

Equipment are the various components or “sections” of an overall Asset.

Examples: An HT Mobile Batch Plant will have an Agg Bin, Agg Batcher, Conveyor Belt, Dust Collection, Cement Silo, and others that make up the whole of the Asset.

Note: When an Asset is added, a template of Equipment will be automatically loaded. Your Asset might vary from the template, so Add or Delete various pieces of Equipment as your Asset needs.

Map: With location services enabled, you can pinpoint a location of an Asset if the address has been added in the details of the Asset. Refer to Editing an Asset to Add/Edit that location

Asset: This will lead you to the details page of the Asset the Equipment belongs to.

Maintenance: This is the section where you can view the schedule of Preventative Maintenance items for the specific Equipment or create new ones.

Equipment Details:

• Name: Type of Asset
• Serial Number: Located on the Asset
• VH Part #: If applicable
• Description: Useful for distinguishing the Asset from other similiar Assets in your Company

Administrators and Supervisor authority levels are able to add new Equipment to Assets.

To add new Equipment go to – Menu > Assets and choose the Asset. Click the Equipment icon () in the green buttons. Click the add Equipment icon () in the top right corner. Choose the piece of Equipment and complete the details of the Equipment. You will be taken to a confirmation page once the Equipment’s information is complete.

Once an Asset is added, a template of Equipment and PMs will be automatically created. These are recommendations from Vince Hagan, but your specific Equipment and Preventitive Maintenance needs will vary based on your company. Please refer to those sections to learn how to manage those.

To edit equipment, navigate to Menu > Asset > Select Asset > Equipment > Select Equipment

Click the edit () icon on the Equipment and complete the form on the next page.

To delete an Asset, navigate to Menu > Asset > Select Asset > Equipment > Select Equipment

Click the edit () icon on the Equipment and click Delete on the confirmation screen.
